I currently reside and operate as a personal trainer in the vibrant city of Columbus, Ohio. This beautiful city provides a fantastic backdrop for anyone looking to embark on a fitness journey, and I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
My passion for fitness was ignited during my high school years, where I was a multi-sport athlete. I dabbled in football and even took to the track. I found immense joy in these activities, but in hindsight, I realized I could have attained even more had I focused on proper training techniques. Like many young athletes, I neglected the importance of post-practice stretching. This oversight continued through my college years, and it took a toll on my body. Additionally, I didn't always adhere to the right form when lifting weights, and I paid the price with an injury. My own experiences have taught me the significance of a structured and mindful approach to fitness.
My primary mission as a personal trainer is to work with individuals who are genuinely committed to getting the most out of their training and improving their everyday lives. I understand that your time is valuable, and your health is priceless. That's why I'm dedicated to ensuring you start with a firm foundation that will serve you for a lifetime. One of the cornerstones of my training philosophy is teaching proper lifting mechanics and form. Throughout my journey, I've had a unique perspective on the importance of physical activity and its impact on people's health. Before becoming a personal trainer, I served as a firefighter and EMT in the city of Toledo for four years. During this time, I witnessed firsthand the consequences of a lack of physical activity on individuals' health, not only physically but mentally as well. It was a powerful reminder of the positive impact that consistent exercise and proper training can have on one's life.
